Williamson County VOAD Kickoff Meeting

Please join us for the Williamson County VOAD Kickoff Meeting on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 pm central time at the Public Safety Center, 304 Beasley Drive in Franklin. Our building can be difficult to find so we have attached a map to help guide you. The first meeting will be a time to build relationships, gain familiarity with the Emergency Operations Center and how the two will interact, understand the next steps to formulate a board to govern the group and move the mission forward, and hear from the following:

Lori Shinton with Hands On Nashville will share information about why a local VOAD is important.

David Sledge from TN VOAD will speak about the relationship between National VOAD, state VOAD, and local groups

Pat Lawson with the Community Foundation of Middle TN will talk about our disaster relief fund and how it will be used to support the VOAD’s efforts.

Tracey Dill from United Way will talk about Charity Tracker.
